The original Collins Bakelite knob weighs barely 2 ounces and the original Collins weighted knob weighs 6 ounces.. This premium made knob weighs a full 12 ounces and tunes just wonderful. A spinner makes for fast and easy QSY. It actually makes frequent band changes pleasant and you soon forget you only have a 200Khz spread on the VFO. This knob is for the ham that uses his radios daily and wants a beautiful weighted knob with a luxurious feel. Installation is easy and all hardware is Stainless Steel.
